Responsibilities:

- Develop and optimize transportation routes to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely deliveries.
- Utilize advanced routing software to enhance efficiency and reduce transit times.
Carrier Coordination:
- Collaborate with carriers to secure transportation services and negotiate favorable rates.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure reliable and efficient transportation.
Communication:
- Act as a liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Provide real-time updates on shipment status and promptly address and resolve any issues or delays.
Capacity Planning:
- Monitor transportation capacity and coordinate with carriers to address fluctuations in demand.
- Implement strategies to optimize fleet capacity and utilization.
Cost Analysis:
- Conduct cost analysis for different transportation modes and routes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data-driven insights to enhance transportation planning processes.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and industry standards.
- Stay informed about changes in transportation laws and regulations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in transportation planning.
- Proficiency in routing and transportation management software.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
