Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Oversee and manage warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and organization.
- Implement efficient systems for receiving, storing, and issuing goods.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to ensure a high level of team performance.
Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline warehouse processes to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
- Implement best practices to enhance overall operational performance.
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Implement measures to maintain the highest standards of product quality and accuracy.
Space Utilization:
- Optimize warehouse space utilization to accommodate varying inventory levels.
- Plan for and manage seasonal fluctuations in inventory.
- Stay informed about changes in transportation laws and regulations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and quality control.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems.
